After spending over two decades in the global IT industry, working across multiple countries with leading life sciences and healthcare organizations, Arun Kumar Ramasamy turned his focus the Indian healthcare ecosystem—and identified a critical gap.
Physiotherapy and rehabilitation, despite being essential pillars of healthcare, remain among the most underserved segments in terms of practice management platforms, business systems, and operational tools.
To address this gap, Arun founded AeglePro— a practice management platform built exclusively for physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinics. Instead of building in isolation, AeglePro was developed openly—through close collaboration with physiotherapists across the spectrum, from independent freelancers and single-therapist clinics to multi-centre organizations spanning cities and countries with hundreds of therapists.
Over the last several years since 2019, this work has provided a rare vantage point into how physiotherapy clinics in India & other countries actually operate—where they struggle, how they adapt, and the practical ways they overcome constraints related to staff, cash flow, systems, and scale.
